The buzzing community in the town has several festivals and events that take place during the year, and even though the town is only small, there are plenty of cafés and restaurants for dining out during your stay and The Jetty is one of our favourites!

A charming town

If you fancy a day by the seaside during your Christchurch holidays, there are a number of beaches stretching from Highcliffe to Mudeford Sandbank, with Friars Cliff and Avon Beach being two of the most popular. The town itself boasts independent shops and a weekly traditional market, held on the high street each Monday.

A number of events and festivals take place each year, including The Christchurch Regatta in June, with competitive racing, the Christchurch Food & Wine Festival in May, and the musical Christchurch Festival in July.

Bournemouth Aviation Museum, housing a collection of historic aircraft is worth a visit during your stay or, if you prefer to get up to something more active on your days out, head to Snowtrax outdoor activity centre for an exhilarating experience.
