The cottage was warm and comfortable. The inside was tastefully done and of a very good quality. Could not fault anything. The Five Bells pub is a 15 minute walk and definitely worth a visit. As is the church! Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay in a cozy cottage. Great location with loads of wildlife on your doorstep. It was great to see the chickens roaming free - it was also lovely (for us) to see a family of foxes who were nosy enough to sit watching us through the window. This is a great place for a weekend or maybe a week away.

This is a wonderful place to stay no matter what the weather. It is a beautifully refurbished barn in which one just likes to hang out in. There are countless options for walks straight from your door step and a cosy pub to walk to. Hillary has been very welcoming and warm. We can highly recommend this beautiful place.

The barn, which is attached to the owners residence, is very nicely built and styled. It is well equipped and the location is great for walks and exploring the area. It was warm and comfortable and the area is very quiet. The garden needs attention (fix the broken fence and cut back brambles.) Allow earlier check-in in the winter months as it is daRead morerk at 5pm. Navigating lanes, shared drives/parking etc would be easier especially due to the wet weather and muddy entrance to the barn. Hide

Great cottage with charm also lovely and clean. It was nice and cool in the evenings and we could sleep with the windows open. Nice to sleep with it being so dark outside. The patio area and the small conservatory could do with a bit of TLC. Clean the stones outside and remove the weeds growing thru the gaps. Also it has Broadband but it was very sRead morelow. Its in a good location down very narrow lanes, we did walk to Charmouth and back following a footpath that followed a small stream. Hide

Beautifully and tastefully furnished, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Parking provision was good. The owner understood the needs of dog owners and even provided a good quilted cover for the sofa to be used by dog owners . A great local pub in the village providing good quality food at reasonable prices and lots of local pathways for walkers.

Fabulous find. The cottage itself is fantastic. Quite, quaint, full of character, warm, cosy and very clean. There is no phone signal, which for us wasn't a problem at all. Due to the time of year we visited the property is was extremely wet and the pathway from your car to the cottage is just grass and mud, so for anyone not wanting to get their sRead morehoes dirty it isn't ideal. A dedicated pathway up to the cottage would be perfect but not essential. Everything you need for a clean quiet getaway! Hide
