Nestled at the end of an extended driveway, this cottage is situated within a serene rural setting as part of a beautiful complex. The home sits within close proximity to the borders of Devon, Somerset and Dorset and grants convenient access to excellent road links with the A35. The surrounding area offers abundant opportunities for exploration, with Devon showcasing enchanting rolling hills and breath-taking moorland, Dorset boasting the magnificent Jurassic coastline, and picturesque Somerset featuring delightful villages and lively market towns. Just one mile away lies the town of Axminster, which provides a diverse range of local amenities and fine eateries. The popular beaches of Lyme Regis and Charmouth are both within just 7 miles. Other popular destinations such as Crealy Theme Park, the market town of Bridport, and the scenic villages of Abbotsbury and Beer, are all within 20 miles and certainly worth a day trip.

The cottage has been arranged in an upside-down format to take advantage of its fantastic rural views. Upstairs, the large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is flooded with natural light through extensive windows on both sides. At one end, the contemporary kitchen/diner contains an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Enjoy meals at the breakfast bar or the dining table at the other end of the room, before retreating to the lounge area for a relaxing evening in. Relax and enjoy the views or make use of the TV with Amazon fire stick. Downstairs there are two bedrooms, one King-size and one single. Both bedrooms are light and airy and share a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC, also on the ground floor.

Outside, a shared garden features a table and chairs and everything you need for a long afternoon in the sunshine. Bordered by well-stocked beds, this spot enjoys breath-taking and far-reaching views across the surrounding farmland and beyond. The property is serviced by a private water supply. Beautiful location, the cottage had everything we needed, plus some extra treats that were a lovely touch! Convenient location to get to lots of coastal places - Lyme Regis is a lovely place to spend time and just down the road.

Very clean, comfortable cottage, everything you need is there. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Louise on arrival, and we can highly recommend this cottage. The location has a beautiful view with a herd of cows in front of us. We also did not want to leave. Thank you Louise & Brian for a wonderful stay.

Very comfortable cottage with a fully equipped kitchen, enjoyed the wine, bread and biscuits that were provided. Lovely quiet farm with view of field of cows, but very close to town with all the amenities needed.
