The village of Worth Matravers on the Isle of Purbeck peninsula, offers the best of both worlds, surrounded by tranquil countryside and breath-taking secluded seascapes, and yet only a ten-minute drive from the popular seaside resort of Swanage. There are many miles of walks to be enjoyed direct from the cottage’s front door, including on the Priests Way which passes close by and takes walkers eastwards from the village to Swanage where visitors can jump aboard the steam trains on the Swanage Railway which run to Corfe Castle and back several times a day.

There is plenty of space to relax and unwind on the sofa and chairs, perhaps while enjoying a drink and a good book in front of the warming wood burner, or maybe cosying up and watching a film on the TV. A glass dining table sits in the window, allowing guests to enjoy the views over the surrounding countryside as they eat, well meals can be prepared in the kitchen which is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The microwave, washing machine, and a handy additional sink can be found in the separate utility room. The bedroom, meanwhile, is a restful king-size room, next to which the bathroom offers a bath, separate shower, and WC.
Large patio doors from the lounge area open out onto a gravelled seating area with a BBQ and garden furniture, beyond which a large lawned garden is a haven for wildlife where guests have been known to spot owls, badgers, and pheasants. There is parking for one or two cars outside the property.
