Beautiful modern apartment located in a historic maritime building close to the bustling harbour front of West Bay and perfect for exploring the restaurants, shops and art galleries surrounding it.

The apartment is located close to the bustling harbour front of West Bay and is situated on the first floor of a historic maritime building, above a family friendly tea room. The accommodation can be conveniently accessed via either a communal staircase or a lift. West Bay is an attractive seaside location with a harbour, a beach, as well as plenty of shops and eateries. The South West Coast Path is also easily accessible from this apartment, being just 200 yards away. Bridport is located 1.5 miles away and there are a number of interesting things to do there, including Palmer’s Brewery. Here you can have a guided tour around a working brewery, try some samples and purchase the finished product from the on-site shop.

The apartment is all on one level, and on entering the hall, all the doors to the other rooms lead off this hall. There is plenty of space in the hall for coats and shoes. The main room is an open-plan kitchen/living/dining space and is beautifully proportioned. Modern decorating makes the most of the double aspect windows, light and views. The kitchen/dining area is a good size for ease of use, and the lounge area is comfortable with a TV, DVD player, a selection of DVDs and an iPod dock for entertainment. The bedrooms are again a good size, there is one double with an en-suite shower bathroom and a further compact double. The main family bathroom has a bath with shower over and WC.

There is no outside space at this property; however, who needs a garden when you have access to the interesting harbour, the beach and the picturesque walks and coastal paths that surround the accommodation. There is designated parking for one car.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Well situated for the town and as a base for exploring the surrounding area. An added bonus was being above a very nice tea room!

This is now our third stay at West Bay. Lovely location, enough to see and do, buses local to go near and far to explore more. Bayridge has all the comforts of being at home. Nice touch with the cream tea on arrival. Added bonus, undercover parking space. Would definitely stay again. 5*+.

A lovely, clean, well appointed apartment. It started with a lovely welcoming gift of a cream tea. Lovely comfortable beds, the living area was very comfortable and the kitchen has everything youd need to cook every day of the week if you wanted to. The apartment was a truly lovely place to come home to at the end of a long day.

This is a very comfortable and well equipped apartment in a perfect location for the beach and surrounding walks and local facilities. We had a great week. To find scones, clotted cream and jam on the table when we arrived was a really lovely gesture after a long drive. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

All round excellent holiday let. Clean, comfortable, warm, well equipped, in a great location and with parking. Could not fault it at all. West Bay is a lovely little seaside resort and harbour and the Bay Ridge apartment was perfect for our first visit there.

The apartment was easy to find, the location was great. When we got inside everything was lovely. The apartment is well stocked, attractive and comfortable. We felt at home straight away and very much enjoyed our stay. Having the lift to ferry heavy luggage is an extra treat.

Really nice flat, instructions were clear. Cream tea waiting on arrival is really nice. Flat itself was clean, towels and bed linen provided. Rooms are spacious, no noise from neighbours, there is occasionally some road noise but nothing disruptive. Instructions for TV, washing machine etc are handy. Location is great, less than 5 minute walk to thRead moree harbour and beach, parking space is useful but possibly a bit tight between 2 pillars of you've got a large car. Hide

Second visit. Lovely touch of milk and scones on arrival. Beds are very comfortable. Showers are amazing. Spotlessly clean. An added bonus of a car parking space. What's not to like? A stone's throw from the beach, harbour, and pubs. The only downside is having to return home. Can't wait to return. 5*+

Altogether it was a lovely holiday and my wife, 16yr old son, and I had a really great time in West Bay. The location was perfect for the beach and the restaurants. Parking was a doddle and plenty of shops around.

What a well appointed apartment. Everything you would need for a week's stay, plus the added kindness of welcome flowers and scones, jam and cream. It's central to West Bay and to both the Dorset Jurassic Coast and the Hinterland. Thank you for a happy and memorable stay.

Great location, handy for lots of bars and restaurants and a stones throw from the beach and harbour. The apartment is excellent, lots of space and full of extras that lift it well above others we have stayed in. The welcome cream tea was a lovely thought and very well appreciated. Lovely, clean, cosy, well-equipped flat in great location. Good pubs - with food - within easy walking distance and Spar is just up the road with most of what you might want or need. Super base for exploring the Jurassic Coast, Dorset in general or bits of Devon even.
