I am afraid this cottage is in a state of disrepair through poor maintenance and lack of cleaning. It could be beautiful and at the very least needs a new coat of paint throughout. Everything needs a deep clean. The sofa and armchairs are smelly and filthy, I would not put my head against the back of them. The double bed mattress is heavily stainedRead more which is a joke! when they ask you to be clean and tidy. The best thing is its location to Corfe common and town centre. Hide

Very good location yet very quiet and peaceful. This is a historic building built in 1749 and would be very difficult to bring up to modern standards. Bearing that in mind and that it is one of the cheapest holiday lets in Corfe Castle, don't expect a palace when you arrive.

It is a very beautiful and charming cottage with loads of character. We loved staying here, the children loved running around in the garden too. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay again. It is in need of some tlc, and a good deep clean.

We were a little dubious after reading some of the reviews but had a lovely few days in the cottage. The owners have obviously made some improvements and all bedding was new. As was the shower. Plenty of kitchen utensils although to be honest we mainly used the toaster. Yes the sofa is dated but is in keeping with the age of the cottage and nothingRead more new covers wouldnt fix. At the end of the day a 282 year old property is going to have a few lumps and bumps and is part of character and history. Hide

A lovely Cottage which we found very cosy and comfortable. It was clean and had everything we could possibly need. The position of the Cottage is perfect so quiet with only a few passing cars. The garden and orchard are beautiful with views of Corfe Castle. We will definately be booking again.
