It offers plenty of modern conveniences, including an oven with an electric hob, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a toaster, a dishwasher and even a washing machine. Sat in the middle of the room, a dining table awaits meals at home. Climb the stairs to discover the cottage’s three bedrooms, including one king, one double and a single. Also upstairs is the second bathroom, home to a walk-in shower cubicle and a WC.

Outside, a spacious lawn dotted with fruit trees lends itself perfectly to long summer afternoons. Watch as the kids let off steam on the grass and light up the BBQ for home-cooked feasts. For added convenience, there is also parking available for two cars accessed through a five-bar gate.

This is a wonderful cottage, well equipped, brilliant location and very comfy with a fab garden to boot. The garden is fully enclosed for dogs (we have a large dog!) and there really is plenty of space for a proper runaround. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again as still so many walks to do!

For just over 200 a night I did not expect: The bottom oven in the kitchen to not work. Thankfully there was the bbq (although the lighter didnt work!) The shower upstairs to make such a racket it was almost deafening. The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom to fall off when you sat on it. No welcome book explaining cottage rules, where nice to eaRead moret locally etc? Tea/coffee and a packet of biscuits, although welcome, we have stayed at other cottages & had bread, cakes etc waiting for us. Hide

A lovely rural picture postcard base for our break that was very clean and well appointed for all facilities. In an ideal location to explore the Dorset coast from Poole all the way across to Studland Bay, the Jurassic Coast and beyond.

A well equipped thatched cottage in a lovely location with a large garden. It was well situated to explore all the Dorset coastal regions between Studland and Lyme Regis. The local roads and lanes allow you to avoid the traffic around the Dorchester by pass, which was the only really busy area we encountered during a peak holiday week.
