This beautiful modern apartment is in the eaves of a Victorian Villa and has far reaching views of the sea, and even the Isle of Wight can be spotted on a clear day.

Located in the town of Swanage, this apartment is one of five and boasts access to all local amenities like shops, restaurants and bars within half a mile. The property is located on a hill coming out of town, so bear this in mind when carrying your souvenirs back! The apartment is conveniently located for accessing both the local town of Swanage, Swanage Bay, Durlston Country Park and Old Harry Rocks, which is part of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. All in all, a lovely base for exploring the local area and finding all the jewels that it has to offer.

The apartment is located on the second floor of the Victorian Villa, accessed up an initial eight external steps into the communal hallway and then a further flight of stairs to the first-floor landing where the front door of the apartment is. Two more flights of stairs are presented upon entering the apartment, with a halfway landing for storage. All of the accommodation is on one level and is located in the eaves of the building, so there are some areas of restricted height. An abundance of Velux windows gives the interiors a light and airy feel. On entering the main accommodation, there is a spacious lounge/diner with comfortable furniture and extensive views of the local town and Swanage Bay. The kitchen is modern and benefits from picturesque sea views, a pretty space to be in when you’re cooking the dinner. There are two bedrooms: a double with sea views and a twin. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and WC.

The property benefits from parking for one car to the front of the property.

Very well maintained accommodation with lovely views but you need to be fit to climb all 45 stairs to the accommodation.

We absolutely loved our stay at Puffin Lookout. The apartment was the perfect location on a quiet pretty street, literally 5 minutes walk down into the Swanage centre. It has everything you need for a family break, lots of space, use of toys and games etc. The place was immaculate, beds were super comfy and the shower nice and warm. This is a perfect location for the local town and has great views of the sea. The hill going back from the beach is really steep - great exercise! The accommodation is well equipped and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The sofa, unfortunately, isnt very comfortable. Swanage is well placed for local attractions.

A wonderful holiday in Swanage at Puffin lookout, a beautifully located spacious apartment with everything you could need. Fantastic views of the bay. Swanage is a lovely town with lots of shops, restaurants and pubs and a beach. The apartment itself was greatly located, nicely decorated, beds were comfortable and a private parking space which was essential. Unfortunately we were really disappointed by the way the kitchen was cleaned. This flat is a great base in Swanage, just a 5 min walk from all the shops, restaurants and the beach. It's pretty much all uphill and quite steep to get back. The accommodation was generally well equipped, however it was lacking in the basics such as toilet roll, kitchen roll and tea towels. The cottage is in a perfect location for the beach, town and parks. Unfortunately during our weeks stay, there was building work on properties either side of the property which began at 8am every morning so a relaxing stay turned into a bit of a early wake up call every day! Maybe if we had some warning from holiday cottages as both properties lookRead more like they are having major refurbishment works, so will be going on for quite a while, therefore affecting others stays.
