This is a beautiful thatched cottage, full of character and very well equipped in a fantastic location just a short walk from the lovely shingle beach at Seatown. There are lots of interesting areas to visit in the locality so it makes a lovely, warm, comfortable base from which to explore the Jurassic coast.

2nd stay in this lovely cottage. Everything that you need in the kitchen to be able to cook (we didn't though), comfy lounge and bedroom. Garden is beautiful and enjoyable in the sun. Yes car park spot is tight but we didn't have a problem (KIA sportage) getting in and out. Short walk to the beach and Anchor Inn pub or into Chideock to the George aRead morend Clock (due to reopen soon). Great location for Burton Bradstock, Lime Regis, Charmouth, West Bay. Good bus route to these places too. Will be back Hide

This is a lovely cottage. It's snug and just how a country cottage should be. The location is excellent for driving along the Dorset coast or inland, or indeed along and into Devon. Similarly it's perfect for local walks, either to Seatown and the coastal path, or along many footpaths. If you drive here then practice reversing into the parking placRead moree which is awkwardly situated if you have to exit backwards, but it just adds to the fun. Would I come back to this cottage? Delightful and well equipped cottage, oodles of character. Superb selection of books, games and dvds. Comfortable beds. Archetypal cottage garden is well maintained and secluded, a delight to sit out in on a sunny day. Having its own gated parking area is a definite bonus. Trimm cottage is in a very good location, a short walk to the beach (10-15 minutes) has the advantage of off street parking at the rear of the cottage which is gated, this is an advantage over other cottages in a narrow lane which can be busy in the summer high season. The garden has two seating areas, a small patio area top of the garden and a tabRead morele and chairs at the the end of the garden which is good for the evening sun. The garden is secure so is ideal for dogs. Quiet & peaceful which ideal. Hide

Fully equipped and great location etc. Only problem was reversing out of tight parking space but at least it is off road and the neighbours allowed us to turn in their space which helped my husband. Lastly, a WONDERFUL selection of videos and games. Thanks for wine and biscuits.
