The traditional seaside town of Swanage has many attractions, including a striking bay backed by a golden sandy beach, a good selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants and amusements suitable for all ages. This picturesque region is also a popular base for long walks in the Purbeck Hills, via the South West Coast path or for exploring further inland. Head five miles north west and visit Corfe Castle, home to historic castle ruins cared for by the National Trust and accessible via steam railway. You can find beautiful un-spoilt beaches at Studland, two miles north east. From here you can also take the chain ferry across to Bournemouth and Poole.

From the driveway head up an incline to the entrance into this stylish detached house. Once inside you are met with a welcoming hallway with space to store coats and boots. Heading to the rear of the property you will find the kitchen equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Heading across the hallway you will pass the bathroom, which has a shower over bath and WC. Next is the inviting lounge/diner with bi-fold doors leading to the garden which provides lovely distant countryside views. This room is the perfect space in which to relax after a day spent exploring as it also has a wood burner, Smart TV and dining space so you can enjoy leisurely meals together. Heading back into the entrance hall brings you to the snug with Smart TV, sofa and space to play games. Next are the stairs, which rise to the first floor. There are three comfortable bedrooms on offer here, one super-king-size and 1 twin both both with TV/DVD and lovely views and 1 bunk. On this floor there is also a shower room with shower and WC.

Heading outside via the lounge/diner, you will find a fabulous landscaped garden. The garden has a patio with furniture immediately beside the house as well as a secondary seating area with fire pit positioned to catch the evening sun. An unenclosed area of lawn that belongs to the property is set to the side (accessed from the side gate or front) and is the ideal spot for a ball game. The garage houses a tumble dryer. To the front of the house is a gently sloping driveway suitable for three cars.

Lovely place to stay. Very restful. First time in Swanage and hope to be back. Lots to see and do helped by the fabulous weather which was somewhat unexpected. Bit of a trek up from the town but worth it for us.

A lovely comfortable holiday home with good outdoor space for children and dogs. High quality beds, bed linen and towels. The walk back from the town or beach is quite steep but all in all we would certainly visit this property again.

The property is well equipped and comfortable, and very well situated for Swanage and for Studland/Corfe. Garden is tidy and pleasant and was enclosed and just the right size for our labrador. Also there are several good dog walking routes nearby through parks, footpaths and quiet roads. We enjoyed our stay.
