Take advantage of this location to hop on the steam train at Swanage station to Corfe Castle, enjoy the water sports on offer from the nearby pier, or hop on the Breezer for a bus ride to Studland and Bournemouth. Take some time to explore the Jurassic Coast, England’s first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you enjoy walking, you are 10 minutes' walk away from Durlston Country Park and Nature Reserve and from there you can walk onto the Priest’s Way and along the coastal path for some breathtaking clifftop views. Durlston Castle: The castle is a famous landmark on the coastline, located a mile from Seaside Cottage in the local country park. The castle includes a natural history museum and an excellent cafe & bar.
Priests Way: The Priest's Way is an historic footpath for ramblers and dogwalkers linking Swanage with neighbouring villages
Enter this beautiful cottage and you will find the cosy lounge complete with TV and open fire, a wonderful space for refuge. Head through into the open-plan kitchen/diner which comes with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The dining area offers a table with ample seating for the whole group to gather and enjoy an evening meal lovingly cooked in the kitchen. Access to the rear garden is through the double patio doors, where there is outside furniture to relax on after a day on the beach. Head up to the first floor where you will find all three bedrooms, a king-size main bedroom, a twin zip-and-link room and a bunk bedroom that is perfect for the children. The main bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC completes this level.
This cottage benefits from two gardens, the rear courtyard garden boasting an outdoor dining set, which is an ideal place to retreat to and enjoy some alfresco feasting. The secret garden to the side of the house is surrounded by beautiful flower beds, a lovely spot which catches the evening sun and is a perfect spot to enjoy a morning cuppa or indeed an evening tipple.
