A tranquil base for a relaxing break, the picturesque Dorset village of Symondsbury is surrounded by verdant countryside as well as offering a welcoming centre, including a popular pub, artists’ workshops and tea rooms. From here you can enjoy fantastic walks, including up to Colmers Hill, or take a trip to the many attractions lining the Jurassic Coast, such as the market town of Bridport (2 miles) with its good selection of shops and eateries as well as an eclectic arts scene and vintage market. West Bay (3.5 miles) is also well worth as visit and is home to a working harbour and swathes of pebble beach. Within 7 miles are Eype, Burton Bradstock, Seatown, Charmouth and Lyme Regis.

A picket gate leads to the private entrance of this semi-detached property. Once inside you are met with a welcoming ambience and carefully selected furnishings. There is a sociable open-plan kitchen/diner with a wood burner and separate utility room with a WC. Next there is a cosy and inviting sitting room with a decorative fireplace and Smart TV, making it the ideal place to settle down after a day spent exploring. Stairs lead to the first floor where you can find the comfortable bedrooms; a king-size zip-and-link which can be made into 2’6" twin beds on request, and a double. Completing the accommodation on the first floor is the stylish bathroom with a shower over the bath, shower attachments and WC.

Heading outside via the main entrance will take you onto a covered terrace to the front of the property, with furniture ideal for taking your morning coffee. To the side of the property is a generous area of lawn with a charcoal BBQ and furniture, perfect for dining and admiring the views towards Colmers Hill.
