Tucked away along a quiet lane, this charming hut sits in an elevated spot with stunning views of the surrounding rolling hills and pastureland. In this location, you’ll have plenty of choice when it comes to walking routes, with Golden Cap, Colmers Hill and the South West Coast Path all within easy reach. Many of the region’s best-loved attractions are close at hand, including the pretty streets of Lyme Regis, Symondsbury village, Charmouth beach, which is a great spot for fossil hunting, Morcombelake with its popular farm shop, the eclectic town of Bridport, home to twice weekly markets and ever-popular West Bay all within 5 miles.
Adjacent to the owners’ home, yet with privacy assured, stepping stones lead to the covered entrance into this purpose-built shepherd's hut, which is positioned to make the most of the amazing views. Once inside you are met with a surprisingly spacious studio area, with the kitchen to your left and room to dine to your right. A wood burner keeps the space cosy whatever the season and you can enjoy watching your favourite shows on the TV whilst you snuggle up in the double bed. A door at the rear leads into the contemporary shower room with WC.
To the front of the hut is a generous raised deck with furniture. From here you can see for miles and if you’re lucky you’ll catch a glimpse of the sea on a clear day. Enjoy a sundowner or your morning coffee before sinking into the private hot tub, which is tucked beside the hut and surrounded by an area of lawn, enclosed by hedging.
