Conveniently situated along the A353, this comfortable property boasts an elevated position with excellent road links, making it an ideal base for exploring the breathtaking beauty of West Dorset. Within 6 miles, you'll discover some of the most cherished attractions on the Jurassic Coast, such as Ringstead Bay, Durdle Door, and Lulworth Cove. Nature enthusiasts, walkers, and anyone seeking relaxation amidst stunning landscapes will find this spot particularly appealing. Osmington itself has a farm shop and a cliffside pub at Osmington Mills, alternatively, you can venture into Weymouth, where a delightful array of shops, cafes, and restaurants await you, many lining the sandy shore and historic harbour this traditional town is known for.

A sloping driveway leads up to this detached property, which is tucked away within the trees. Once inside you'll find a generous hallway, with a tiled floor and access to a useful utility area with shower room. Next is the sociable kitchen/diner, with a large central table for the family to gather around. A cosy lounge witan h electric flame effect wood burner and a TV complete the ground floor accommodation. Heading upstairs to the first floor, you can choose between the three bedrooms. The double has it's own en-suite shower room and the two twin bedrooms share the bathroom. Due to the setting within the eaves of the property, there are some areas of restricted head height within the first floor, which only adds to its character and charm.

Heading outside via the main entrance door or the lounge, the garden is mostly set to the front of the property, making the most of the distant bay and countryside views. There is a patio area with furniture and a lawn tucked beside the property, ideal for a lazy afternoon together.

A quirky cottage, very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The location was not brilliant as it was on a very busy road. But in saying that we enjoyed our time there.

We really enjoyed our visit to Dorset and the Weymouth area. We found the house very comfortable but it would benefit from some minor improvements.

Large property but needs general maintenance. Reasonably clean. Two of the duvets were ripped, mattress protectors stained and needed replacing. 4 of the 8 bulbs were not working in kitchen. Frying pans had seen better days. No plastic cups, plates etc for younger children. Log burner had been condemned. Garden nice on 3 levels. Good location for WRead moreeymouth beach and amenities. Not 4 star as advertised, 3 stars at best. Have stayed in nicer and better equipped properties for the money. Hide

The house was lovely to stay in, the downstairs rooms are nice and spacious, the main bedroom is lovely and large the the other two bedrooms are a little snug. It has a great garden for the dogs. Lovely house and garden, slightly "tired". Close Proximity to Ringstead for walking dogs, but no accessible footpaths directly from the house, always having to go in the car unfortunately. Easy access to lovely places to visit. A353 like a motor race circuit, very noisy. But nothing one can do about that. Overall a lovely stay.

Lovely location, with a beautiful mature garden that is fully enclosed, so great for our 4 legged friends. Very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed for our Christmas stay. Brilliant to have 2 ovens, and a dishwasher. Love the big round dining table and lazy Susan, and plenty of space for putting our holiday rations away. 5 mins from a sRead moretony beach great for dog walks. 10mins from the supermarket and Weymouth town centre, perfect for a family or friends stay.
