Lovely cottage in a great location. Bright, airy and very well fitted with comfortable beds and linen. The kitchen is especially well equipped and functional. A short walk to two excellent local pubs and to Hive beach. We very much enjoyed our stay.

A lovely cottage with plenty of space and a great dog proofed garden. The location was fabulous with coastal walks on the doorstep, two good pubs and a shop in the village. Also on the bus route to Bridport and Abbotsbury. We look forward to returning to Fig Tree cottage in the future.

Lovely cottage in good location of village. Really nice welcome pack appreciated. Five minutes walk to the excellent Three Horseshoes pub Only downside is the parking on a blind corner which is ok if someone sees you out. Would definitely stay again.

The cottage was really nice and well-equipped, although, as someone else has pointed out, the sofa in the living room is pretty uncomfortable. The EV charger was a definite plus point. Comfortable beds, which was handy as I was unwell for a couple of days and had to spend a fair bit of time lying down! Burton Bradstock is a lovely village, but (andRead more it was a big but for me) the road adjacent to the cottage is very noisy, especially on Sundays when there is a continuous stream of motorbikes. We are both in our early 70's and there were plenty of walks available without too much effort. The cottage itself was beautifully clean and felt like home! Bed was very comfortable. I had a bath (we only have a shower at home. A bath was bliss!) There was more than enough equipment, all in excellent order. The garden needed some flowers in the bedRead mores (I was tempted to put some in!) but other than that it was wonderful. So easy for 2 of us and small dog to stay in and explore West Dorset. Hide
