The stunning, elevated lodge is located in the heart of the seaside town of Swanage. Swanage offers something for the whole family, with its popular sandy beaches, a diverse array of independent shops, cafes, restaurants, beach attractions and a pier. Surrounded by rolling countryside, the area is a perfect place for walkers with the South West Coast Path, Ballard Down, and Durlston Country Park all within 2 miles of the lodge. Take the historic and famous steam train which stops at the historic village of Corfe, where you’ll find the castle ruins, now owned by the National Trust, and picturesque streets to explore. Further afield there are many attractions for all to visit including Poole Harbour (8 miles), Monkey World (15 miles), Durdle Door (17 miles), Lulworth Cove (17 miles), and unspoilt famous Dorset Jurassic Coast.
Three steps lead you up onto the veranda where you will find the front door, leading into the hallway/bootroom, perfect to kick off those muddy boots or sandy shoes after a day of exploring. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the perfect entertaining area with far-reaching sea views along with uninterrupted views across the Purbeck Hills open countryside. The comfy sofas offer a space to relax in front of the Smart TV at the end of a busy day whilst planning the next adventure. The well-equipped kitchen offers space for you to cook up an evening meal or prepare a morning breakfast. Two bedrooms can be found at the rear of the lodge, the first of which is a master suite offering a double bed with an en-suite shower room. Bedroom two offers full-size twin beds, and the family bathroom provides a charming place to relax with a soak and it completes the property.
Stepping outside, you are welcomed onto a well-sized veranda where you can enjoy a morning coffee catching the sunrise or an evening meal underneath the stars. A short walk away (0.5 miles) is a neighbouring site which offers a place for guests to enjoy use of its facilities including an indoor pool and gym (charges do apply).
