The property is accessed through a shared courtyard garden to the front. The private entrance opens into the single-storey property and a striking open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with island and vaulted ceiling with beams. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook up a storm with an electric oven and induction hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. The lounge area is opposite and is equipped with a Smart TV. Just next door is a stylish king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower open to the room and separate WC. A second king-size zip and link bedroom completes the accommodation and has an en-suite shower room with shower and WC.

Bifold doors open onto the courtyard-style garden immediately outside of the kitchen area. This inviting space has furniture and is fully enclosed. Lovely cottage, in a really peaceful location, well equipped with top of the range appliances. Nice enclosed courtyard area and use of the paddock was ideal for the dog, would have been nice if courtyard extended alongside the bedrooms so you can see the views Great location for visiting the surrounding area.

Lovely property which is quiet despite being close to main road; everything you need is provided but could do with a coffee machine; easy access to local sights and only 45 min or go to south coast which is a must, esp Portland light house. Recommended pub in holt is brilliant: dog friendly, great service and delicious food. Lovely clean, warm and welcoming cottage/barn. Beautifully decorated and furnished. We really enjoyed our stay, so did our dogs! Even poo bags for them. Great location for visiting so many places. Very cold weather when we were there but the accommodation was so warm we had to turn radiators down . Would highly recommend it.

Excellent in all regards and nice and warm. Have stayed in cottages before which were quite chilly. This one was perfect with easily controllable temperatures so no heat or energy wasted.

Dairy Cottages is a group of beautifully located countryside properties about 8 miles from lovely Wimborne Minster. Although a more central location would be preferable in some ways, travel to main routes and highways was straightforward and easy to navigate (once the satnav kicks in, which doesnt take long). A pleasant stay. Quiet and peaceful. The beds and sofas were comfortable and the barn was tastefully decorated. However, certain things let it down eg cleanliness and just the general finish. The TV only provided channels via limited apps. A good place to explore this area of Dorset.

Very welcoming cottage, owners friendly and helpful. Not much hanging space for clothes bedrooms a bit small. Nice furnishings and comfortable bed and sofas. Garden/courtyard disappointing as no view to the surrounding countryside- felt rather closed in, but very safe for the dogs. Lovely property, comfortable and plenty big enough for 4 adults. Helpful enclosed courtyard for dogs/small children (if rather overgrown). Owners on hand to sort any issues and suggest places to visit. Great location for Nee Forest, Wimborne Minster and Dorset coast.

This is a super cottage and we had a personal welcome from the owners, which mad a difference. The quality of the accommodation is excellent. There was also an electric car charging point (one f the reasons for choosing this cottage). The cottage was well-equipped and very spacious. We are seriously considering a return in the future.

The property is part of a small modern development, situated in a private courtyard about five miles outside Wimborne Minster. Whilst there is nothing in the immediate vicinity got is a great base of exploring Dorset and Wimborne is a great location whilst able to provide all the essentials. Very comfortable and well appointed cottage. To confirm previous reviews, be aware that there are no footpaths outside the property and therefore driving is necessary even to take your dog on a walk close by in the woods.
