November
Fireworks on Poole Quay
Celebrate a dazzling bonfire night at Dorset’s largest free firework event. Join the party from 5pm and experience a fantastic show with family entertainment and live music throughout the evening. The fireworks go off with a bang from 8pm so be sure to visit Poole Quay to get the best view in the house.

Start your Christmas shopping and get into the festive spirit at this fantastic market at The Lighthouse Poole. They’ll be everything from seasonal goodies, unique gifts, innovative crafts and delicious local produce. Enjoy this fabulous shopping experience whilst singing along to your favourite carols and sipping on some scrumptious mulled wine.

December
Enjoy a journey back in time with a fabulous vintage event boasting a fantastic Christmas market, unique setting, lots of heritage and educational treats. The children will love Santa’s grotto plus lots of activities and crafts whilst you enjoy live music and a scrummy Christmas lunch.

Travel back to the Middle Ages for a delightful tour of Corfe Castle. Learn about the rich history of Tudor traditions and get involved in the interactive games and festivities. For an extra special experience, visit during the Winter Lights event and experience this beautiful heritage site under twinkling lanterns and contemporary lighting.

Take a festive trip on the luxurious Pullman Observation car named ‘Christmas Belle’ on Swanage Railway this December. Your one-hour journey will take you through the wonderful landscapes of the Isle of Purbeck whilst you enjoy delicious canapés and champagne at your seat.
